MofuChip is a razor-sharp trick-taking game by TottoTottino (designer Yoshihiro Yanagida), which debuted at Game Market Spring 2026 in Japan. Cute girls and animals fill the cards with bright artwork by illustrator hoppe, but beneath that soft presentation hides a tense little contest of timing, bluffing and comebacks.
Over ten tricks you play cards, each trick led by a colour. Whoever plays the highest value in that colour wins the trick and scores a point. All cards are dealt at the start, so you see your full hand ahead of time, but the double-sided chips create surprising reversals: one side adds +2 to a played card, the other lets a card of another colour count as the lead colour anyway. Deliberately losing a trick to gain chips is part of the plan too.
Compact, travel-friendly, with a manga-style multilingual rulebook (Japanese, English, Korean, French), so no language barrier to worry about.
