Pop Art Trick

Pop Art Trick is a trick-taking game with no trump suit where winning is not always wise. Players try to collect just the right amount of cards, because taking too many results in a heavy penalty. Artistic ambition has its limits.

Follow the led color when you can. But instead of playing a card, you may pass by revealing a card from your hand face up. That card stays visible for everyone, creating public information and future vulnerability. Collect 8 or more cards and you face a major penalty. Careful, controlled collection can earn positive points.

Each color contains three "5" cards. When matching color and number cards are visible, they cancel each other out and fall out of the trick. Sometimes a trick ends with no winner and the cards carry over to the next round.
