Chu Han

Chu Han takes you back to ancient China, to the Chu Han Contention (206 to 202 BCE), where the Chu and Han clans fought for supremacy after the fall of the Qin dynasty.

Designed by Tom Lehmann (Race for the Galaxy, Res Arcana), Chu Han combines climbing and shedding and special powers in a tight duel for two players. Each round you start with a mix of Chu and Han cards representing the tensions within the clans, hostage taking and shifting allegiances. Play sets of matching value, use power cards at the right moment and try to be the first to empty your hand.

Optional events and two historical campaigns add extra depth once you have the base rules down.
