In this competitive trick-taker, players use four suits to become the ultimate shadow ruler. The regime controls the capital, the capital controls the media, the media controls the people, and the people overthrow the regime, a cycle in which each suit has one weak and one strong match-up.

Players take turns placing cards into areas and must follow suit in an arena if able. As soon as an area holds two cards, conflict resolution occurs: the winner takes one of the three victory point tokens and claims their opponent's card as points, but the losing player may instead choose to take the stronger card into their hand. 

Once no victory point tokens remain, the game ends. As the game progresses you have fewer options for where to play cards, so crafting your hand into exactly what you need becomes essential.
