Picanté (Stick 'Em)

Picanté is the revamped edition of the classic Stick 'Em, originally known as Sticheln. A razor-sharp trick-taking game where you know exactly which cards you do not want to collect.

At the start of each round you choose your own Picanté colour, the colour you want to avoid at all costs. Every card of that colour you still end up collecting costs you points equal to its printed value. Every other colour earns you 1 point per card instead. The sting is in the detail: any card that does not follow the requested colour counts as trump. So you keep trying to serve your opponents their Picantés, while staying out of the firing line yourself.
