Red Panda Surprise

In Red Panda Surprise, each round you play two of your five cards at the same time as the other players. Whoever has the highest sum seems to be winning, but the lowest sum secretly gets ten added to it, so that player often wins the round instead. The winner discards their cards, while everyone else puts their played cards on the bottom of their own deck. There are also cards that let you swap for a card in someone else's hand, and advanced players can shuffle in unique secret cards. Easy to learn, but with enough layers to keep it tense: whoever gets down to three cards or fewer first wins. A fast and adorable card game by Dylan Coyle (Charming Games).
